Directions
Step 1
Open the box of band-aids and check out the sizes. Pull out the correct size for the wound or cut. The cloth part, should not be smaller than the cut, but can be larger. Remove the wrapped band-aid from the box. Tear off the paper covering.
Step 2
Grab the ends of the band-aid with two fingers of one hand on one and two fingers of the other hand to separate the sticky ends. Make sure not to touch the cloth part.
Sept 3
Place the band-aid above the wound. Your fingers should still be on the ends of the plastic coverings. It should be about 1 inch above the wound. Lean your pinkie on your hand, to get leverage if necessary.
Step 4
Pull the plastic coverings to the sides. At the same time, pull the band-aid down. Make sure not to touch the wound, this keeps the bandage sterile.
